About the role:

Permanent full-time role, 76 hours p.f.

You will be part of the team participating in the provision of a comprehensive inpatient/outpatient physiotherapy service to the North West Hospital and Health Service, covering the following clinical areas: Medical and Surgical wards, paediatric and Maternity wards, ICU, ED, various outpatient clinics, and including weekend roster and on-call.

You will gain excellent generalist skills in this remote context, working within a dynamic Allied Health Services team.

You will be supported to complete the First Nations Graduate Pathway which involves:

  • Dedicated training and development time each week (0.2 FTE)
  • Participation in regular clinical supervision
  • Participation in regular cultural mentoring

The NWHHS Allied Health & Pharmacy Services include Clinical Measurements, Nutrition and Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, Speech and Hearing, and Podiatry with a visiting Orthotics service. These professional teams provide a multidisciplinary approach to service delivery to the NWHHS, delivering Level 4 moderate complex inpatient, outpatient, and child development services within the Mount Isa Hospital.

  • base salary ranges between $76,747 and $116,332 p.a. (HP3).

Role requirements:

  • Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences (refer to relevant Role Description).
